TV Explained: Gossip Girl has been written and developed by a team of experts and fanatics of “Gossip Girl”. The app explains scene by scene what is going on, why the characters are behaving like they are and who is having an affair with whom. If you thought you knew all the Gossip from the Upper East Side, Iʼd check this app out first.

All you have to do is enter the Season and the Episode you are watching, followed by the time (hours, minutes, seconds) that has elapsed in that episode (eg Season 1, Episode 2, Time 00:15:16). You are then given a synopsis of that exact moment in the scene, including the plot, the characters, and who is with whom along with anything else that you may have missed. You can also scroll back and forth between scenes to ensure you didn’t lose the plot at a different time. Among those on the long list of nasty celebrity divorcees, Kelly Rutherford was spotted out yesterday (July 7) in Los Angeles handing over her son, Hermés, to soon-to-be ex, Daniel Giersch.

The “Gossip Girl” actress looked nautical in a horizontal red and white striped top with white pants, but did not look pleased as she passed her child to his father.

Rutherford filed for divorce from Giersch last December while she was pregnant with their second child, Helena, who was born last month.

“I found out I was pregnant, and I thought, Oh, maybe things will be nice, maybe it will be calm,” Kelly recalls. “But it wasn’t. Things only got more intense,” she says.

As far as raising her kids goes, Kelly added, “The most important thing is that the children have love and stability in their lives, whether that comes from a mother or a father. [Alone], I can raise them to be much more peaceful.”

Blake Lively has no ”willpower” when it comes to dieting, and because of her eating habits hates having to flash her flesh on screen.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress – who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit US TV show – hates having to wear tiny clothes for the programme because she doesn’t bother watching what she eats.

She explained to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I do panic before I have to wear a really skimpy outfit, but I don’t have enough willpower. I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years.

“On the day of the shoot, I had a pork burrito, chips and coke. Afterwards, I thought, ‘I probably shouldn’t have done that.’ But whatever.

“I have never worked out, but I know you feel better when you do so I am planning on getting a trainer.”

Blake is currently dating her co-star on the show Penn Badgley, but admits their love story was not as smooth as people think.

The 21-year-old actress was initially totally opposed to Penn getting a part on the show, but her opinion of him changed when they began working together.

She said: “At first I was so upset that they hired him. I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person. Almost immediately I realised that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”

Sorry, Hilary Duff haters, but Duff joins the Gossip Girl cast as movie star Olivia, and she’ll be getting her movie-star cooties on the entire cast, not just Vanessa and Dan. Also on Gossip Girl this season, Chuck and Blair are totally getting married and having a million babies. (OK, not that, but they are staying tight. Yay!) And believe it or not, the show really is trending away from “Dan and Serena are the one true pairing of Gossip Girl.” Certainly, that arc might turn back sometime in the future, but for now the show is trying to establish their separate identities, apart from their on-again, off-again shenanigans.

TV Diva’s Magic 8-ball says: It is decidedly so. We will finally meet Serena’s dad this season on Gossip Girl.

Since the beginning of Gossip Girl, Serena (Blake Lively) and Eric’s (Connor Paolo) father has never really been mentioned — other than in stories of their mom’s various husbands and escapades. It has been revealed that he runs the same Dutch shipping firm his great-great-grandfather created in the 1700s but other than that, he remains a big mystery. But that just might change as the teen drama heads to its third season.

According to Eonline.com’s Kristin Dos Santos, “It is decidedly so. We will finally meet Serena’s dad this season on Gossip Girl.”

When we last saw Gossip Girl, Carter Baizen revealed to Serena where her father is and so she planned to go to Fiji to find him. There is no word yet on who might score the role of Serena’s dad but the van der Woodsen kids have already pitched in some suggestions.

“Brad Pitt,” Blake Lively exclaimed when asked about who should portray her father. “Or maybe [he should be cast] as my new boyfriend.”

Her on-screen brother, Connor Paolo, on the other hand, was a little bit more realistic.

“We’ve been asking since day one who daddy dearest is, so it’ll be good to find out,” Connor Paolo said. “I’d say Christopher Walken could make a great dad. I think he’d be a great papa van der Woodsen. I think [his and Lily's] dynamic would be awesome. I’ll push that one. Or maybe Jack Nicholson.”

While Jack Nicholson, 72, may be a little too old to be his father, Paolo argues that it’s possible given Lily’s taste in men.

“I think, with Lily, he could be dad,” he asserted.
